What they say
(2,499 characters)hey there folks this is Josh Stoney Ridge farmer welcome back to day two of the concrete pour here on the Stoney Ridge Farm now guys if you didn't join me for day one that's okay you can do it after this video day one is right over there that is stamped dyed concrete we've got a little more finish work to do on that let's just go over and show you real quick a little teaser at the end of this video there'll be a link to the stamped and dyed concrete we just got done cutting the relief joints in the concrete right here that's so it can expand and contract and crack so we want it to crack where we want it to crack and we'll be doing that on this pad too a 10 by 10 on each little section right here so this will be broomed concrete this is stamped and dyed this will rinse off and it looks almost brown with some red accents once we get done you'll see that in future videos on the farm and you'll see this pour in a link right up there if you want to watch it first so what we've got going here today is a concrete pour this is approximately 35 yard of concrete you can see we dug an eight inch footing on the outside edge to help prevent cracking this is going to be a 4000 PSI fiber concrete you can see right here again that's our nice little footing that we poured because when you run up on this with tractors and heavy equipment I want to make sure that it doesn't crack the most likely point of cracking is going to be this corner right here and we'll do some interesting concrete cutting right here on the corner and we're going to build it up really really strong right there so it doesn't crack also going to build it up real strong right across here the forms aren't in place right here because the truck's going to come right through back in there and start pouring concrete and these guys are going to get to work we're using raised concrete here in North Carolina guys if you're local to North Carolina Southwest Virginia these guys do a fantastic job so all the doors are open we're going to be doing a little bit of finish work molding into the doorways here also so you need to know the ins and out of what we're doing here so this is sloped downward right here this is the first concrete pour there'll be some footage of that going on right now this is sloped downward then right over in here this is sloped downward so this will meet the concrete surface the new concrete surface you see we've got it dropped right here so this will be feathered out and dropped down right…
