Does anyone know if lake water compromises the structural integrity of concrete?

What happens here

Once the concrete bed is in place, carefully set a rectangular paver block onto the wet concrete in the trench. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the paver block down. This ensures the paver is firmly seated in the concrete and is level with both the adjacent pavers and the surrounding ground. Repeat this process for each subsequent paver block to create a continuous and even border.

Goal: Secure and level paver blocks for the border
