What happens here
After routing, remove the main composite decking piece from the jig and clear any dust or shavings from the V-groove. Then, using a heat gun, begin to apply heat directly and evenly into the V-groove. Move the heat gun back and forth along the groove to ensure the material softens uniformly. Continue heating until the composite material becomes noticeably pliable and can be bent without cracking. Avoid concentrating heat in one spot for too long to prevent scorching the material.
Goal: Soften the composite decking with heat and bend it into a 90-degree corner.
