What happens here

For a standard deck, hidden fasteners are typically used to create a clean surface without visible screws. The MoistureShield hidden fastener system uses clips that are screwed into the joists and engage with the grooves on the side of the composite decking boards, holding them securely in place. Drive the screws on these clips using an impact driver. This ensures a strong hold and a seamless, fastener-free surface. Note that some sections, like mitered corners or fascia boards, may still require face-screwing with the screw-hiding method.
