DIY EASY Faux Walls! Metallic Suede.

What happens here

Pour the metallic suede paint into a paint pan. Start applying the metallic suede from the top of the wall. Use the 4-inch microfiber roller to apply the paint in a random, non-consistent pattern, rolling the paint into the corners and along the masked edges. Immediately follow with the flex trowel, working the wet paint in random strokes (avoiding consistent patterns) to create the suede effect. Work in small sections, approximately 2 square feet, as the metallic suede product dries quickly, especially in warmer rooms. This first coat will help build the initial texture on the orange peel surface. For hard-to-reach areas like narrow crevices, use a soft bristled brush (e.g., a Chynex Premier Hampton Paint Brush) to apply the paint.

Goal: Apply the first coat of metallic suede using a combination of a 4-inch microfiber roller and a flex trowel, working in small sections to ensure proper texture and avoid quick drying.
