Install Horizontal Baseboards

What happens here

Carefully measure the wall where the accent paneling will be installed. Cut two 1x6 boards to the appropriate length to span the width of the wall for the bottom and top horizontal sections. Secure the bottom 1x6 board directly above the existing baseboard using a nail gun. Ensure it is level and firmly attached to the wall studs.

Goal: Begin by installing the bottom and top horizontal baseboards (1x6 boards) to define the main horizontal lines of the board and batten design.
