Deflecting overspray. Simple tip! #howto #diy #overspray #innovate #paintingtips
What happens here
Next, move to the lower section of the wainscoting and the adjacent floor. Use a masking machine to efficiently apply a strip of painter's tape along the top edge of the baseboard (if present, or the bottom edge of the wainscoting), simultaneously dispensing masking paper to cover the floor. Extend the masking paper away from the wall to adequately protect the flooring. Reinforce the masking paper by applying additional pieces of painter's tape perpendicular to the initial tape line, ensuring the paper stays flat and securely attached to the floor.
Goal: Protect the floor and lower wall/baseboard from paint overspray.
