What happens here
Once the assembled panels have dried sufficiently, sand their surfaces to achieve a smooth and uniform finish. Use an orbital sander with appropriate grit sandpaper (starting with a coarser grit like 120 and progressing to finer grits like 180 or 220). This removes any glue residue, minor imperfections, and prepares the wood for finishing. Ensure all surfaces are smooth to the touch.
