Begin Drywall Demolition

What happens here

With personal protective equipment in place (respirator, safety glasses, gloves), begin the initial breaking of the drywall. Use a sledgehammer for larger, initial holes, and a pry bar for more controlled removal of sections. Be mindful of potential electrical wires, outlets, and plumbing pipes that may be concealed within the walls. Kick or hit the drywall sections to loosen and remove them, making sure to contain debris as much as possible for later cleanup.

Goal: Start breaking holes in the drywall using a sledgehammer or pry bar, working carefully around potential electrical or plumbing lines. Efficiently remove sections of drywall.
