that edge easy peasy lemon squeezy i'm gonna hit it with 220 actually 180 sike uh really lightly [Music] all right folks one of the last things we do before we start hitting this puppy up with some texture is uh we're doing a skim coat on anything that doesn't have existing texture on it you can do one of two ways you can either float it lightly that's what i'm doing there's not a lot of room or you can get yourself like a painting pan with the rolling thing and they just roll on that skim coat just it primes the drywall to actually adhere to and kind of balance everything out once you hit it with texture all right we're getting ready to shoot texture i bought myself a little hopper um this shoots consistently um with a big overspray it's like 50 bucks at harbor freight so just do yourself a favor and go get it if you have a little air compressor the only trick now is to take this drywall compound and dilute it to be a little bit on the runnier side the only real trick here is get a larger and wider overlap the more overlapping you do go into the normal drywall the less noticeable the transition will be [Music] so in a way we have an official bathroom
