Asphalt Delivery and Transfer

What happens here

A large dump truck, specifically designed for transporting hot asphalt mix, backs up to the paving machine. The truck's bed is raised, and the hot asphalt mix is slowly and continuously discharged into the paver's large front hopper. This transfer needs to be precise and continuous to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted paving operation. Steam is visibly rising from the hot asphalt as it is transferred, indicating its high temperature, which is necessary for proper workability and compaction.
