Could I have done this with just my hand? Yeah probably. But where’s the fun in that?!

What happens here

After tapping the screw head flush with the hammer, return to the cordless drill. Lightly apply the drill to the screw head to ensure it is fully engaged and tightened into the wood. This final driving step provides any remaining necessary torque for a secure connection, ensuring the screw is firmly set without stripping the head or over-compressing the wood. This step might also serve to confirm the screw is truly tight after the physical seating, and is shown repeated for subsequent screws.

Goal: Ensure the screw is fully tightened and securely fastened.
