Correct Way to use an Adjustable Jaw Wrench

What happens here

For tasks involving malleable materials like copper fittings, adjustable jaw wrenches are ideal because they are less likely to mar the surface compared to aggressive tools like pipe wrenches or Channellocks. To tighten a copper fitting, first position one adjustable jaw wrench on the fitting, using it as a 'backup' to hold it steady. Then, use a second adjustable jaw wrench to turn the other part of the fitting. Ensure that for both wrenches, the fixed jaw is properly oriented to take the torque in the direction of the turn. Adjust the wrench, tighten, turn slightly, then loosen and reposition for another turn until the desired tightness is achieved. This 'tighten, turn, loosen, reposition' motion allows for incremental tightening without slipping.

Goal: Safely tighten a copper fitting using two adjustable jaw wrenches without marring.

actually used for the torque we've got two fittings here this is actually gonna be for a project I'm gonna do real soon when putting this copper in it's actually gonna be really malleable you do not want to take a pipe wrench to this and try to tighten this or a pair of channellocks I mean you can but you're gonna Mar it up it's gonna get nasty it potentially could end up cutting you if you got real jagged you go to mess with it later on so you're just gonna use two wrenches take a backup and actually get that put on this way and then you're going to take the other adjustable jaw like I said you still you're just wanting to use this whole pipe for your leverage and so then you just turn and when you get to it make sure it's all the way setting in the back there and the back of that wrench and then tighten it up and turn and then loosen go to another spot tighten it up and turn just get into that nice motion right there putting it all the way in the back of the wrench tighten it up and turn it then loosen put it all the way to the back of the wrench tighten it up and turn it until you reach that desired tightness and you're good to go
