Prepare Tile and Lubricate

What happens here

Before drilling, securely clamp the ceramic tile to a stable workbench using Irwin Quick-Grip clamps. This prevents movement and ensures safety during the drilling operation. Crucially, pre-wet the surface of the tile where the hole will be drilled using a spray bottle filled with water. This lubrication is essential to keep the diamond drill bit cool and reduce friction, which helps maintain the bit's sharpness and prevents overheating of the tile, leading to a cleaner cut.
