With the tile properly secured and lubricated, begin the drilling process. Start by positioning the Diamond Tile Drill Bit at a 45-degree angle against the tile surface. This initial angle allows the bit to 'bite' into the tile, preventing it from skidding or 'walking' across the smooth surface. Once the bit has created a small groove, gradually roll the drill upward to a 90-degree angle (perpendicular to the tile). Apply steady, moderate pressure and continue drilling while ensuring the area remains wet with water.
