Converting My Garage Into a Golf Simulator. SHE'S PISSED!

What happens here

To minimize ball bounce-back from the impact screen, install a 2-inch thick mattress topper directly behind the screen, allowing it to hang flush. This absorbs significant impact energy. For the exposed wooden framing around the screen, secure rubberized plastic lawn edging to prevent balls from hitting hard surfaces and ricocheting dangerously. The edging also helps retain the screen's image quality. Additionally, consider applying Flex Seal tape or similar waterproofing tape along edges or seams where stray balls might hit, to further prevent punctures and ensure durability. Ensure a 16-inch gap between the impact screen and any solid wall behind it to allow for screen recoil.

Goal: This step focuses on enhancing the safety and durability of the enclosure by adding padding behind the impact screen to reduce ball bounce-back, and using plastic lawn edging to protect the wooden frame and maintain screen tension.

Tools in order to finish off this enclosure part we need to start addressing this exposed 2x4 now I don't want balls ricocheting off and I saw my buddy Jameson from Rogan Jor do this on his at home simulator what he did is he took some batting and stapled it down along the edge and then wrapped it with excess material around it I'll be sure to link his video in description below he did an awesome job for a simulator that doesn't take as much room as this one does I never knew this about fabric but fabric is relatively inexpensive like certain stuff like this was like four bucks a yard I got six yards that's pretty dang cheap I wish Lumber was this cheap that's the best way I can cut that you need like a tracks off for fabric [Music] our enclosure is done we've officially
