Apply and Wipe Off Excess Stain

Apply the oil-based stain generously using a brush, focusing on saturating the wood. The goal is to achieve deep penetration into the wood fibers, which prevents the wood from cracking, splitting, and drying out over time. This product has a thick viscosity and adheres well to the brush, minimizing drips and spills. Once a section is covered, immediately wipe off any excess stain with a rag. This is a critical step for oil-based penetrating stains, as any excess left on the surface will not dry and will remain sticky, accumulating dirt and dust. Continue this process for all surfaces, including the bench and deck boards, working in manageable sections.
