What happens here
Proceed with removing the vinyl decals. If using a heat gun, apply low, even heat to a small section of the decal for about 15-30 seconds to soften the vinyl and underlying adhesive. Once softened, use a plastic scraper or your fingernail to carefully lift a corner or edge of the decal. Slowly and steadily peel the decal away at a shallow angle (15-30 degrees) to minimize adhesive residue. If the decal starts to tear or the adhesive becomes stubborn, reapply heat. Alternatively, if using a decal removal wheel, attach it to your drill and gently apply it to the decal. The wheel will rub away the vinyl and adhesive. Move the wheel continuously to avoid heat buildup in one spot. The video shows a worker actively using a power tool, which appears to be a decal removal wheel, to strip the 'EEKSIDE OUTDOOR LIVING' branding decal from the driver's side of a white Ford F-250 pickup truck (model year 2011).
Goal: Completely and safely remove all vinyl decals from the vehicle's paintwork.
