What happens here
Once all vinyl material is removed, examine the paint surface for any remaining adhesive residue or 'ghosting' where the decal once was. Apply an adhesive remover to the residue, following the product's instructions for dwell time. Gently wipe away the dissolved adhesive with a clean microfiber cloth. For stubborn spots, reapply and lightly rub until clean. After all adhesive is gone, thoroughly clean the entire area with a vehicle cleaning solution to remove any chemical residue. Finally, apply automotive wax or sealant to protect the freshly exposed paint and restore its shine. This process prepares the truck for its next owner. The video shows the various Ford trucks (a 2011 F-250 flatbed, a 2018 F-150, and a 2015 F-250) that are being prepared for sale, indicating the completion of the decal removal and subsequent cleaning.
Goal: Remove all adhesive residue and protect the vehicle's paint finish, preparing it for sale.
