What happens here

Once both the front and rear pins of the bucket are properly seated and engaged within the Engcon quick coupler, the operator must activate the hydraulic locking mechanism from the excavator's control cabin. This action causes the coupler to securely clamp down on the bucket pins, forming a rigid and safe connection. Many Engcon systems incorporate visual feedback (such as a green indicator light on the control panel) or audible signals to confirm a successful and secure lock. After engaging the lock, it is critical to perform a final verification step: gently lift the bucket a few inches off the ground and carefully manipulate it by tilting and rotating. This allows the operator to visually and tactilely confirm that the bucket is fully attached, stable, and shows no signs of looseness or improper engagement.

Goal: Lock the bucket to the Engcon system and confirm a secure connection.
