What happens here

A critical 'pro tip' for using CleanSeal is that it cannot be painted over. The reason is that a layer of paint would cover the active enzymes, preventing them from interacting with and breaking down mold-feeding oils. If painted, the caulk loses its mildew-resistant properties, essentially making it as effective as any old caulk. It is available in white and almond colors to suit common aesthetic needs.

Goal: Learn that CleanSeal cannot be painted, as this would hinder the function of its active enzymes, making it no more effective than regular caulk.
