Apply Seed, Fertilizer, and Lime

Classic old tractor get's workout seeding new land!
What happens here
Begin by spreading the seed first. This allows you to see the tractor tracks and ensure comprehensive coverage without wasting seed. Drive in a circular pattern around the perimeter of the field for the initial passes (e.g., three laps), then drive down the middle. Overlap the passes to achieve heavy coverage. Next, spread the fertilizer, followed by the Solu-Cal (lime). The lime is applied last because it is less caustic than fertilizer and helps clean the machine. When working on a hillside, spread materials heavier at the top and lighter at the bottom, as gravity will cause some material to wash downhill. Driving over the freshly spread seed helps to settle it into the soil, improving seed penetration and germination.
Goal: Evenly distribute seed, fertilizer, and lime across the cleared land.
