Chicago's Abandoned Racetrack Nobody Knows About - Inside Forgotten Meadowdale Raceway

What happens here

Drive or walk along the section that was once the main front straightaway of the raceway. Observe how the original paved surface has degraded or been covered. Look for any remaining concrete slabs or distinctive features from the track. The video shows the exploration team using a golf cart for this section. Also, identify the areas that were formerly the pit lanes and grandstands by comparing with historical images. Note any elevation changes that might indicate former structures or track design.

Goal: Locate and visually assess the main straightaway and pit areas.
