Chicago's Abandoned Racetrack Nobody Knows About - Inside Forgotten Meadowdale Raceway

What happens here

Locate the concrete pad where the gas pumps for the raceway once stood. Use historical photos to confirm the location and visualize the former setup. The video shows the exploration team identifying the remnants of the gas pump island, now surrounded by overgrown vegetation. Also, keep an eye out for a square hole in the ground, which has been identified as a footing for an original infield structure, possibly the control tower.

Goal: Identify the locations of former service and control structures within the track infield.
