Check this out! NEW truck tool box.

it literally just died as i was finishing up literally just died as a fish all right guys today we're going to be checking out a brand new toolbox that i've only seen once and that was only on display before and the reason i went with this toolbox it's like having a topper but without actually having the visual impairment of a topper because it lies low in the truck bed and i can still utilize the truck bed so if i needed to carry a pallet or to do something else i can still use the truck bed but everything is locked up stored away and out of the weather [Music] so [Music] so for a guy like me that plows snow for a living this was the perfect thing because when you're driving truck and you got to turn and look over your corner your back like this when you're plowing snow i don't want to have a topper blocking my vision this lies right down below me and it's like it's not even there i went out snow plowing last night you can actually see it down there you couldn't even tell it was there i didn't even tell i didn't even it didn't affect anything at all so here's the deal you guys know that i've been having problems with people stealing stuff and it's gotten worse around the twin cities and so i needed something that would keep all of my tools gear and equipment safe and locked up and when i flip the tailgate up this thing as long as my tailgate is locked my toolbox is now locked and it's also weatherproof and each one of those drawers it's got two drawers that come with it each one of those drawers can hold up to 200 pounds and then what i really like about it is when you pull that drawer out everything is right there chest high you're right you're like well it's waist high actually it's well tailgate high is right there [Music] now in full disclosure these guys [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] now i waited before i made this video because i wanted to see how those wheels would handle the cold the ice and the snow now they claim these tool boxes are weatherproof but they're not waterproof but so far this box has survived torrential rains freezing ice thought well ice usually does freeze so far i've had no complaints no issues at negative seven below it performs the same as it did when it was 37 above buddy [Music] dead the battery's dead it literally just died as i was finishing up literally just died as i finished up this we only stripped one screw that'd be this one okay so we've got the structure basically in place let's see how far these drawers roll out we do have clearance so this is maximum depth coming out yep she ain't going to come out because they're locked into a lip underneath there i try putting them in after i put the wheels okay so she won't hey will you do me a favor will you jump up there and jump up and down on those because i want to see let's pick a drawer i don't care which side [Music] okay so let's yeah that doesn't affect it at all let's just take a look at what we've got inside uh we can still we still got to fit the toolboxes in place don't we [Music] actually slide back to there then you're tight up in place now it's going to be hooked in place with two with j hooks from the front and from the back so the assembly really it's just more of piecing this together yeah when you first get it is basically that that's what took the most time was piecing it together right yep yeah so once you got it pieced together installing it and d stalling is probably not going to be too difficult is it pull the one of these sets of bolt one one what either side a bolt and pull that plate right there pull this plate pull one set of bolts and then this side will pop out and this side will slide over and lift right out basically it'll just fold in half and little things so it's like they got some farm work trucks and stuff his personal truck has this so are these lockable well yes you just need to pop that little uh thingy it's just a little pop out or whatever and then you can mount an actual lock one of them has the like accessories and stuff well let's finish putting it together and then let's open it up and check out check it out with all of the options screw and bolt diameters and inches conversions drop measure fractions decimal millimeters they do have a lot of nice little features on it don't they put away this one's dead suspender boys they're calling you suspender boys [Music] they're like like captains like there should be a captain in there somewhere all right you guys we're almost nearing completion on this system if there's anything you guys want to know just
