Check out this new DECKNOLOGY. Can’t get more custom than this! 😎 ..#build #builder #construction
What happens here
After creating a template or practicing the cutout, replicate the drilling and routing process on the actual composite deck board where the charger will be installed. Use a miter saw to precisely cut the deck board to its desired length or to create an access panel if necessary. The video shows the deck board being cut to length. Once the opening is created (using the technique from the previous step), insert the wireless charger module into the prepared recess in the deck board, ensuring it sits flush and securely.
Goal: Integrate the wireless charger module into the deck board.
Tools and materials
- Compact Router HiKOKI — To create a shallow recess around the circular hole in the deck board
- Composite Deck Board — The main material into which the wireless charger will be integrated
- Cordless Drill DeWalt — To power the hole saw for cutting the main circular opening in the deck board
- Hole Saw — To cut the initial large circular hole for the charger in the deck board
- Miter Saw DeWalt — To cut the composite deck board to the desired length
- Wireless Charger Module — The device that wirelessly charges the phone, to be installed flush into the deck board
