What happens here

These outlets are controlled via an app on your smartphone, allowing you to turn lights on and off remotely. You can program schedules for lights to turn on and off at different times in various rooms, creating the illusion that someone is home even when you are away. Many apps also include an 'away mode' that automatically cycles lights to simulate occupancy.
