Building The Premier Dream Shop - Part 3

What happens here

A worker is seen installing a rim joist (or similar perimeter framing) on the top plate of a wall using a nail gun. Another worker uses a speed square and pencil to accurately mark lumber pieces for cutting. Multiple joists are then cut to length using a circular saw. These joists are positioned parallel to each other, typically at 16 or 24-inch intervals, and fastened to the rim joists or directly to the ledger boards using metal joist hangers. Ensure all joists are level and properly spaced for load distribution.

Goal: Measure, mark, and cut lumber for the rim joists and floor joists. Install the rim joists along the perimeter of the top plates, then set the floor joists in place using joist hangers and secure them with nails.
