Building The Premier Dream Shop - Part 1
What happens here
A large concrete mixer truck (Silvi Concrete) delivers ready-mix concrete to the site. Workers use a power buggy, a motorized wheelbarrow, to transport concrete from the mixer's chute to various sections of the foundation. Other crew members spread the concrete evenly within the forms using rakes and shovels. A worker operates a power screed, a motorized tool that vibrates and levels the concrete across the width of the slab, guided by the perimeter formwork and internal grade stakes (referred to as 'wet pads'). This process ensures the concrete achieves the correct elevation and initial flatness.
