Building My Kid's a Dream Gaming Desk

What happens here

Two additional pieces of wood are cut to serve as spacers between the main desktop and the monitor stand. These spacers are attached to the previously constructed leg frames. The creator opts for two spacers instead of one for increased strength and stability. Pilot holes are drilled, and then screws are driven in with wood glue to secure the spacers to the leg frames. After this, the monitor stand top is test-fitted and then attached to the spacers, also using pilot holes and screws for a secure connection.

Goal: Spacers are attached to the leg frames, and the monitor stand top is then secured to create the elevated tier.

[Music] i'm liking this design so much that even with that leds you can guarantee that you'll see me building some kind of table legs with just putting these kind of grooves in it just let me know do you guys like it in the comment section i'd love to hear you guys think about it i'm going to start ripping off the remainder pieces uh to just kind of elevate it create a way to secure it okay so we're going to attach the spacers i just had to go with two instead of one just because one's kind of a little too basic and i feel like it's kind of strong to make it easy i'm just going to put a couple of pilot holes put a couple of screws from here in with wood glue and then we'll do bracketing to secure the top to keep you know wood movement and all that stuff play all right so this is the idea of the desk it looks so cool i love the side profile i love that this is raised and then this is going to be the top monitor piece the monitor sits right there i bought these led lights on
