Building Customer Confidence. Who Is The Idaho Painter?

this crystal painter here on paint live TV I'm gonna give you a quick tip to building customer confidence and building customer confidence is something really important because I asked for 50% down prior to even starting a job two weeks out and you know that's a lot of money to a lot of people and so the customer has to have confidence that I'm going to actually show up and do the job after they've paid me that kind of money and one quick tip is being a member of your local Better Business Bureau and this is a very important tip I've been a member of the Better Business bill for over 18 years there's a lot of services they offer that go along you know with being a member so you should really look into it it's been something I've never regretted and I'm a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and it does build customer confidence they did a short clip who I am what I'm all about right here it's a great video stay tuned for this video of who the Idaho painter is right now I grew up in the construction trades when I was about 12 years old and my father encouraged me to go to school to get a college degree - I'm apparently make something of myself I went to Cal Poly Pomona got a college degree in urban regional planning and I couldn't get a job I had a really good friend I grew up with in California and he said why don't you come to Boise Idaho to try to get a job I worked for Boise Police Department for a handful of years and then decided to go back to college to get a degree in computer networking I felt like I was extremely bored and the whole suit-and-tie thing really just didn't fit my personality [Music] my friend who convinced me to come here was a painting apprentice he started a painting company called B&K painting I wanted you know to build a company that was built on honesty integrity and Trust the Better Business Bureau was always an essential part you know of that relationship and building trust and it's always good quality clients that we got to I like to draw the correlation between painting and law enforcement when I worked in law enforcement all you do is make people mad because you're pulling them over writing them tickets but painting on the flipside all you do every day is to make people happy and seeing something old turn to new again is extremely rewarding but I was a self-taught painter and I had a lot of struggles learning there was no YouTube there was no books on painting and I wanted to give back and help people out we'll see you next video so I started my youtube channel probably about eight and a half years ago now and started off was zero and just had this idea of utilizing these platforms to educate and also help market myself it was about three years ago that I was around twenty thousand subscribers on YouTube and I was invited to you YouTube San Francisco and I left that place saying I'm gonna make YouTube my full-time job I've never used before its branched off into a lot more than YouTube into a full product line paint lifepro and and paint live products got a you know her own Academy where we teach and educate called the paint life Academy it turned into a business a corporation that was bigger than being a painting so I had to turn over my baby B&K painting to an amazing guy John Cole that runs it now on my youtube channel in my social media following I get comments every day that's many a three pages long where people are talking about hi how I completely change their lives and it's it's very rewarding one of the things I really wanted to do and I've been focused on is bringing back the professionalism to the trades I never was ashamed of being a painter there was value in what I do and now YouTube has been this this platform that who would have ever fir seen a small self pop painter from Boise Idaho teaching people across the world to not only paint but to love their career and have a career that's very financially rewarding so there you have it there's a little bit about who I am and what I do I strongly encourage you to become a member of the Better Business Bureau it's a small fee to joining you'll get that back right away and all the referrals that you're gonna get from that organization and they're great pearls because they're people looking for quality painters and that's you know the people that the Better Business Bureau refers if you want to link I'm gonna leave a link down in the video description below to the Better Business Bureau and how you can get ahold of them and how you can join the organization hope you've enjoyed this video hit the subscribe button hit the notification builder where you get notified every time we come out with a new video it's free easy to do simple
