Come build a big ass deck with me. I didn't record a part one because I was too lazy, but today I'll give you a rundown. Two foot by 3 ft footings, 6x10 beam, 2x10 floor joist. You best believe you're doing pressure treated. 2x10 hangers, 12 in on center. That's overkill. Yep. Yeah. Big ass exterior nails. You could use screws if you're a baller like that, but I'm not him. That's a nice deak. Thanks, Ben. That's Ben. He keeps me from jumping off this deck when things get hard. Appreciate you, Ben. Come on, big girl. Go on. Get in there. Get Come on. It might be a three Gatorade day for you. We fixing to get ourselves some Gatorades today. Gatorade H2O. Water sucks. It really, really sucks. Please say what you want to say about me, but please don't hurt the water. You're fired. No, Mr. Coach Klein. Vicky Bord on Sundays. Mama has this G grill in the barbecue. Bobby Bush, are you asking me to a barbecue? Why? Yes. Yes, I am. Can't wait to take a piss off this deck. That's a weird thing to say. Strong like bull. In the previous episodes of building outdoor steps, I was quickly corrected that it's not pronounced das hammer. It's pronounced durhammer. Thank you Germans. Love your cars. Nuts to butts. Love the taste of steel early in the morning. You should have used screws, not nails. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. My rules. I'm not crazy. If you find yourself building a nice deak like this, make sure you build it out pressuret treated lumber. But if you want to save some shekels and use non-pressuret treated lumber, you can run flashing tape over the top of the floor joist to keep the water from intruding into it. The hangers are on. Now we back screw the front. Don't worry, we're doing this together. Together. Together. Together. Now there's no leaving. You can't leave. Don't leave. What? You think you're better than me? We'll put an apron on me and call me Susan. This thing's rad. Well, that's my deck. It's hot. It's a hot deck. Hope you enjoyed part two of part one that doesn't exist, but there will be a part three if you if you like watching people make stuff. And if you do, I have a YouTube channel, Mr. Build It. Go check it out. You'll see the stuff in detail. Or don't. I don't care. I lied. I don't. Please. Please subscribe. Please subscribe. Or don't. I don't don't. I don't care. Let's be best friends. Okay. Back.
