What happens here
The deck boards that will form the actual hatch door are installed directly onto the newly positioned frame. Hinges are then carefully measured and screwed into place on the back edge of the hatch, allowing it to pivot open. This creates the functional door part of the egress hatch.
Goal: Attach the deck boards to form the hatch door and install hinges.

- Deck Boards — Creating the surface of the hatch door
- Exterior Screws — Fastening the hinges
