Building a DIG, Climb and CHEW Proof Dog Run

What happens here

To enhance the dig-proof feature and create an additional barrier against burrowing, green metal flashing is installed along the base of the fence. This involves carefully bending the flashing to create a curved barrier that extends both below ground and along the fence panels. The flashing is then secured to the fence and backfilled with soil. This creates a dual-layer deterrent against digging, making it very difficult for pets or other animals to tunnel underneath the fence line. The green color blends somewhat with the natural environment, prioritizing function over pure aesthetics.
