What happens here
Roll out and secure black landscape fabric (also known as weed barrier) over the newly leveled areas where gravel or garden beds will be placed. Overlap seams by at least 6 inches and use landscape staples or pins to secure the fabric to the ground, preventing weeds and stabilizing the base layer.
Goal: Prevent weed growth and stabilize sub-layers.
