What happens here
Once the foundational layer of blocks is securely in place, the construction of the bins continues by stacking additional layers. The Bobcat skid steer, still using the chain and hook attachment, lifts each subsequent concrete block. Workers on the ground guide the blocks into position, ensuring that the male/female interlocking notches engage correctly with the blocks below. This stacking process is repeated, building up the height of the bin walls layer by layer, until the desired dimensions are achieved. Multiple bins are constructed simultaneously, demonstrating efficient teamwork and machinery utilization.
Goal: Build up the height of the material bins by stacking additional layers of concrete blocks.
Tools and materials
- Bobcat Skid Steer Bobcat — Lifting and placing additional layers of concrete blocks
- Chain and Hook Attachment — Connecting to the concrete blocks for lifting
- Concrete Blocks — The primary building material for the bins, used for stacking layers
- Safety Shoes — Protecting feet from heavy falling objects
- Work Gloves — Protecting hands during block handling
