What happens here

This project demonstrates how to create incredibly strong and lightweight custom hose clamps using a specialized tool and wire. It covers the entire process from preparing the wire and forming the initial loop to tightening the clamp for high-pressure applications and finishing the ends for a permanent, secure hold. The method offers a true 360-degree seal and is resistant to loosening from vibration.

Hose to hose? No glue, no fitting. We got 310 PSI barbed fitting, 6,800 lbs. >> Wow. >> So, you can use it on any of your high pressure lines. I'm going to make a hose clamp out of wire that's 10 times stronger, 90% lighter, true 360° seal. I'm using stainless steel, but you can use any wire. Bring your ends together. Make a loop. Feed your ends through the loop. Now, one time around like this is great if you're just attaching something. Two times around for pressure. Exact same way, up through the center, back through the loop again. Go through, make sure you're not cross-twisted, or you take the nose of the tool, insert it under the loop, wrap it up and around each of the pegs, twist those two together just like a bread tie. Notch at the bottom of the tool, you're going to pop that loop right in there. >> Ow. >> That's your push. That's your pull. When you start tightening, it pulls the wire tight around your project. You're going to feel it in the tool, it's going to get hard to turn. You're going to see it's getting nice and flush. Those are your two indications. If you have the overhead, you always want to try to go 180. >> Okay. >> you're in a tight spot, just past 90° is all you need. Cut the wire on both sides, that tool out of your way. I'm going to trim these down just a little bit. Now, when you push these down, it work hardens that wire. It stretches that wire into a permanent clamp. >> Wow. >> shake loose, vibrate loose, that's not going to come off until you remove it. And if you got to get it off, bend the tabs back out, grab a hold of the center, >> Oh, awesome. Where can we find your product? >> clamptitetools.com
