Shape and Smooth Mortar Haunch

What happens here

After applying the mortar, use the trowel to carefully smooth and shape the applied mix. Create a sloped haunch or curb that extends from the bottom of the paver outward and down into the ground. This shaping process compacts the mortar, removes any air pockets, and forms a strong, stable edge support for the pavers. The video shows the person carefully running the trowel along the mortar, pressing it firmly against the paver and into the ground, achieving a clean, angled, and uniform finish.
