What happens here

This project outlines the establishment of a self-sufficient, off-grid lifestyle centered around a tent home and an organic farm in a tropical environment, specifically Hawaii. It details the process of setting up basic living quarters, managing environmental challenges like pests and natural elements, cultivating food through organic and biodynamic farming, sourcing food directly from nature, acquiring suitable transportation for the location, and building a supportive community to aid in this unique living arrangement.

have you heard about summer snow when it falls on you your blood runs cold but don't you sweat your pretty skin cuz it melts away for insincere any dream about this very night when the ball runs down the summer sky be the mall and all the spray to say that's your home the tarp the tarp okay I'm gonna park ride and got back in disputed pain that I could cause a broken bridge of the feet in love never thought ahead about two feet [Music] [Laughter] [Music] we parked there yeah Wow so that's the color we would be if we actually had around stained red and stuff yeah yeah that's from the clay yeah right is there it looks way Turner's I'm like some so pale oh hey you get front seat she gets but we don't know where to go I can tell you letting go is the hardest part and mama is having an especially difficult time with this one you guys are gonna see that in just a minute our daughter is what's called a wolf a woofer what does that stand for I don't remember work working on an organic farm so story is she moved to Hawaii because she's wanted to travel the world since she was like three years old right now she's 20 and we can't really stop her can we mom's really happy about this one guy no no she's not so today we're gonna go to Hawaii so we decided to take our family trip to Hawaii to see how she's doing so she went there a couple three months ahead of us three four months and now she's living on a farm and living in a tarp pretty much and she seems to be pretty happy so she's as happy as Mama's not yep yeah okay isn't it magical that's amazing the gardens nice guys I know this is these are motivating those flowers over there actually when you get to my spot we should just walk around a little bit okay beautiful yeah okay nothing look waited for you we don't know I can't pronounce anything here we went to the market and we got so much fruits and where am I going left that's your home the tarp the Turk okay I'm gonna Park Oh you know am I supposed to say you know I I don't I don't even know what to say in this case I don't want to see her living like this but I also don't want to take away from her the challenge of creating her own world of fulfilling her own dream and as a parent it's really easy for us to give our kids everything when we realized that by doing that at least I believe we're taking more away from them we're taking away their ability to to figure it out on their own when we give it to them and so as much as I would love to provide and protect and to do everything possible I also want her to gain the skills that she needs to go out into this world to do whatever she has to do if I can't be there and the only way I can do that is by letting her make some of her own mistakes and live the life the way she wants to but give her love give her support but don't give her a hand out I don't know I mean he'll only been a parent for kids I'm still figuring it out myself [Laughter] [Music] yes we can get some new plywood get some flooring we can so this is your yeah this is my bad isn't it cool beautiful here come in it doesn't smell too bad oh [Laughter] [Music] now that you've seen where she lives what do you think now that we've been there and gone there did it what do you actually think about that just in general I thought it would be how about you well I made me a little bit more comfortable I mean I don't like her being 4,000 miles away living without us there's nothing about the distance that makes me comfortable but of all the places that we've been and we've had a chance to travel a lot of places doing a lot of different work yeah well it's more than I've ever traveled I mean I've done as much traveling in the last two years as I did my entire life before that so for me that's a lot of traveling I've never been to a place that made me as comfortable I mean if I was gonna have her anywhere that's the most comfortable I've been for one for two I mean there's no poisonous stuff there that's good the weather is just super even-keeled the people there that I met at least the ones that I've met have all been like wow these are just really down-to-earth just nice people yes yeah very just so that helped me yeah yeah all the ones that we met every night no Cass said me looking like magical those creatures that crawl out of the cave because they're so white we were saying we see cucumbers those little animals and we were taking videos of them we found a crab and it tried to grab my hand out of the hole no way I always try to put the crabs what they always waiting for me if you want I didn't pee my pants I quit trying are we like walking past the garden or something or what are we doing okay Cass what do you eat out here you can eat any of this yeah bio dynamically grown too it's the only works with the energetics of the plant not just the physical farming flick labor it's so cool I have a paper that explains edible flowers it's actually good tastes like kale kohlrabi nicely yeah I just - green onion you're like a juice chaser it's got a zing to it - kind of spicy onion equally yeah really oniony what kind of flower is that can I have another flower can I eat a red one yeah the red one tastes more perfume II need some perfume right okay see these right here boys yeah try red one this is what you call try it it's not as strong as the yellow one I think I like the red one better or the yellow one better the other one is like kicking into high gear like back to kindergarten I think that might be a weed ass Cassady she would know are you sure that's age like a that's a golden or blue it's not a golden that's an orb weaver what kind of fruit is that it's so one of the things that makes me the least comfortable about this entire scenario is that at the whim of the farm owner she could get kicked off and be completely homeless with no shelter at all and that didn't make me very comfortable so I went out and I bought her a cheap 2000 dollar car you're gonna hear about that right now I mean and we just literally went and bought a car and the people that we bought a car from for her we got a lot yeah I'd say so I mean I'd say so and I also kind of I mean then they were like hey if she ever needs anything we're right here we'll be your advocates they just literally volunteered this and so you're gonna actually see the brat in another video that I shot with him because he's a handyman and he's a contractor and he is now making as much money as when he was a nurse manager and he's booked out almost two years in advance so I shot another video so you guys are gonna meet me okay five years will have the house paid off yeah we'll leave Dallin to take care of it and it's going to Brett's garage so guys this is Brett Brett was and are actually started out in blue collar and I started out as a construction guy a remodel contractor for years and then I came down with carpal tunnel syndrome and ended up having to have the surgery and because I read a lot and I I've always been fascinated by medical stuff my doctor was conversing with me because the hand surgeon he said Brett why don't you ever go to college and I said money and he said well you're going to be able to continue doing construction concrete concrete construction in a future upcoming video but he was kind of what I felt to be a general representation of the people of this island of Kauai is that am I saying that right so I think there's some good and some bad to this whole thing I don't like her being far away but if I was she was gonna be a gypsy anywhere because she truly is a gypsy I mean the genetic family is a gypsy family I mean we know it's been in our blood for years her grandfather grew up living in the woods with bear no electricity I don't know I mean right now I'm guessing if grandpa raised up in heaven looking down on her he's like why would she voluntarily do that to herself she's very she's very brave right on her own and that's the way she's wanted to be as long as we've yeah she's always dreamed well always dreamed about just go moving away and going out and doing her own thing and now she's doing it and you guys gonna sing it yeah you know talk let's go to Hawaii you guys and see how she's doing here I'll show you something cool and jell-o's are too juicy to eat they just you try to eat it like an orange and it'll just go everywhere you just drink it you have to squeeze it what's up really spiders centipedes you have a Knowles birds birds chickens like wild goats yeah dude it's just like yeah this is a regular good old path what the flip oh there's another one down there oh yeah there's another one there's one there's another one right there there's three of them there's goats everywhere what about pigs I saw somebody was like shooting pigs you saw I'm shooting things no there was a advertisement for pictures they taste like is this a good chiku do you see why why just like latex I like to drink it though well I do if you don't want it taste it tastes good was it due to your skin it's it's hurts just feels like latex on your skin it's sticky when they're ready when they're right blue they turn black and they're super soft to the touch like feel that one yeah super hard yeah it gets soft to the touch and inside it's literature like dark rich chocolate pudding it's nice we ever had one what does this actually called chocolate sapote ever to ripen they never ripen on the tree they only reverently fall down so you have to pick up before and when you pick up you have to wait like weeks at least two weeks to ripen yeah so and I had to never and we're back home again home sweet home no I mean what do you do at night Oh like physically do yeah so Thomas Thomas helped you fix up your place that is true maverick living you want to talk about off-grid there's no electricity [Music] last track through the forest through the trees forgot boy that was Jason spent so many nights living out at sea that my heart is gone bacon everybody who was close to me all stayed on dry land so now I'm driving back don't in the state past I just gotta feel something not gonna wear to the morning because I'm just gonna change my mind I don't wanna change my mind [Music] I will walk away from this [Music] I walk away from the spot [Music] she lives on her own she farms her own food she's making her way around we bought her a car because we were worried about at least if she gets kicked off she can sleep in her car she's not just homeless and and she never wears shoes so she's not shoeless and homeless in Hawaii she at least would be able to get in lock the doors and have a place to sleep safely and not on a tent on the beach was what she really wanted to do yeah she has not she and she has it's not the perfect scenario but it is what it is it's better than what it could be and hopefully so she'll survive this stage of her life and then have a lot of good stories to tell later on so our prayers go out to her hopefully you guys can say a prayer for us too because we are nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs we'll bring everything we learn as it goes good bad room between any final words No all right never have nothing to say I don't know what to say put a camera in my face god bless Hannah and her yes god bless go get them you guys
