Backyard Makeover Time Lapse Before and After - Ground Level Deck, Paver Patio, and Covered Pergola!

What happens here

After excavation, the base for the paver patio is installed. This includes laying down a geotextile fabric to prevent weed growth and stabilize the base. Crushed stone gravel is then spread over the fabric, followed by compaction using a plate compactor. Metal screed bars (steel pipes) are laid out, and a layer of bedding sand is spread and leveled using a screed tool. Finally, plastic paver edging (edge restraints) is installed around the perimeter to hold the pavers in place.

Goal: Install a stable and level base for the paver patio and secure its perimeter.
