Backyard Makeover - DREAM COME TRUE - Full Build Time Lapse
What happens here
Prepare the sub-base for the paver patio by compacting and leveling gravel. Install a pre-fabricated circular paver medallion as a central design element, meticulously aligning its segments. Proceed with laying large format pavers across the main patio area, ensuring they are tightly fitted and level. This includes creating pathways that connect to the pool area and other sections of the backyard. Utilize a plate compactor to firmly set the pavers into the base. Finish by installing plastic or metal edge restraints around the perimeter of the paver areas to prevent shifting and maintain the patio's shape. Sweeping polymeric sand into the joints and wetting it will then lock the pavers in place.
Goal: This step details the preparation of the paver base, installation of a circular paver medallion, laying of large format pavers, and finishing with edge restraints.
