BACKYARD BONANZA PT 2 - Installing Decking and Starting Paver Patio
What happens here
The project begins with an overview of the existing concrete patio that will serve as the base for the new multi-level outdoor living space. The first course of Techo-Bloc patio blocks are carefully positioned around the perimeter of the existing concrete. Wooden 2x4s are placed underneath the heavy blocks to facilitate lifting and applying adhesive. A string line is used to ensure precise alignment. Each block is gently tapped into place with a hammer or mallet after adhesive is applied.
Goal: Establish the perimeter and first layer of the patio using Techo-Bloc blocks over existing concrete.
