Apply Subsequent Coats and Finish

What happens here
If your project requires more than one coat for full coverage or if you're applying a different color or a topcoat/clear coat, repeat the application process from Step 4. Ensure each subsequent coat is applied thinly and evenly, allowing adequate drying time between coats. For a durable finish, especially on frequently used furniture, consider applying a clear topcoat like polyurethane or lacquer as the final layer. This will protect the paint and provide added durability. Once all coats are applied and thoroughly dried, carefully remove any painter's tape and plastic sheeting. Dispose of waste materials properly and clean your spray gun according to its instructions. Allow the furniture to fully cure (which can take days to weeks, depending on the paint) before heavy use.
