ATV Buyer Beware! Burned on this deal? Lessons learned best ATV farm/property/recreation

What happens here

The final ATV reviewed is the camouflage 2023 Honda Rubicon 520 DCT, which the presenter calls the 'prettiest one' and the 'Cadillac of the farm.' He notes it has a more appealing wheel style compared to the 'plain Jane' wheels on other models, and advises buyers to 'get the nice stuff.' The camouflage plastic is emphasized as being 'not blue through and through' (or whatever base color), indicating it's a painted surface that will show wear more easily than solid-colored plastics, as evidenced by wear marks from feet. This model also features independent suspension on all four wheels, in contrast to the solid axle on the Foreman, which he states is not a 'game-changer' for his utility needs. He highlights the ease of maintenance and cleanliness of this machine. He notes that the toolkit and battery strap are missing from this used purchase, inferring a previous owner might have been less meticulous. The overall consensus is that while this model is more refined, its core utility is similar to the other Hondas.

Goal: This section examines the camouflage 2023 Honda Rubicon 520 DCT, highlighting its aesthetic upgrades, independent suspension, and differences from the other models.

resale guys so take good care of it now onward and upward to the prettiest one on the farm I picked this up used with 20 hours on it that one had 20 hours on it I haven't used this one very much cuz it's kind of the Cadillac for the farm this has a little bit uh different style wheel this is an all black wheel if you do get a Rubicon don't get the Plain Jane wheels go ahead and get the right stuff get the nice stuff guys really robust it's all basically on the same platform as the foreman you can see the foot platform is basically the same the wheels and tires wheels are different but the tires stock here are just about the same stock tires that came on that machine now we're going to look at this again we have the low and the drive this one runs just a little bit better guys it's just a little bit nicer a little more plush and you're going to pay a premium for that camo if you buy it from a dealer reason I bought them used is because I didn't want to pay that premium right open up our tailgate right here toolkit got a strap that holds the battery down this one the strap is gone the toolkit's gone what does that tell you some kid had it that's what it tells me this is clean as is a whistle easy to keep clean again this is your independent suspension on all four wheels is it a game changer okay is independent suspension a huge deal absolutely not is it a huge deal if you ride ATVs with someone who is not very experienced and they don't understand how to shift the gears like this one you've got to shift gears on this one so if you're riding with someone and that's the reason I picked up two rubicons one was for my wife who's no longer here and one was for me she didn't understand so much how to shift gear she didn't grow up shifting gears and most I say most young people most young people nowadays don't know exactly how to shift gears and unless you've been in Motorsports or unless you've grew up with a stick shifter you don't really know how to shift gears in most cases so these two automatics are kind of a universal machine that you can put just about anybody on and all they have to do is hit that thumb that machine requires a little bit more thought and a little bit more experience these are the ATVs that I use on the farm I know there are tons of other brands and I hope to test tons of other brands here on the farm love to get a Canam on up here try it out get some Yamaha stuff up here Suzuki stuff but right now these are the Hondas and this is what…
