Alsip Nursery: Unilock/Techo-Bloc Display Project!!

What happens here

The video displays a finished retaining wall constructed from large, modular block pavers, used to create raised planting beds or level changes. While the construction itself isn't shown, a typical DIY process involves laying a compacted gravel base, ensuring the first course of blocks is perfectly level, and then stacking subsequent courses with a slight setback for stability. Adjacently, a decorative drainage channel is visible, made from small, rounded, light-colored stones, bordered by rectangular pavers. This feature serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose, directing water runoff while adding visual texture. Concrete benches and tables made from similar materials are also integrated into the hardscape, providing seating and display opportunities.

Goal: Build retaining walls and incorporate decorative elements like stone channels and integrated seating.
