Adding some edible landscaping to the Farm
What happens here
The presenter demonstrates planting a grapevine by digging a hole slightly deeper than the root ball with post-hole diggers. He adds a few handfuls of composted garden soil to the hole to acclimate the plant to the local soil. The grapevine, removed from its paper bag, is placed in the hole, and then backfilled with a mix of original soil and more compost. He plans to attach the vine to the fence's top wire (stay) for support once it grows.
Goal: Plant grapevines and prepare them for trellising along the fence.
