What happens here

This video features a presentation of Evolution Wheel's specialized Abaco tires, highlighting their unique segmented, airless design, exceptional durability, and smooth ride quality. The presenter discusses their benefits for heavy machinery like backhoes (eliminating bounce), their application on UTVs for off-road and job site use, and their potential for military and underground mining vehicles where flat tires are a constant issue. The video emphasizes the longevity and reparability of these tires, along with their high-performance characteristics.

Okay, this is not your normal tire. Tell me about it, Derek. >> That's right. This is our backhoe tire. Actually, it's a rear for a backhoe. It's segmented. We always say that you can fix it if you need to, but built so you don't have to. So, if you damage this, you can actually call us up. We're going to send you a wear part with matching tread depth. But, nine times out of 10, this tire is going to be completely worn out. Customers are going to call us for all brand new new rubber. Fix it right on the job site. This has a lot of technology in it for high quality, heat dissipation, everything. I put a lot a lot a lot of time in this tire, but Okay, so now if this segment gets damaged, you can pull that out, and then you'll measure tread depth and send the customer a new segment. Is that right? >> you a brand new segment. You can modify one if you want, but like if you want a nice smooth ride, you call us. We're going to send you a wear part to match. Now, you said this is also designed to eliminate the bounce of a backhoe. So, backhoes tend to bounce. >> Backhoes are horrible. They got a big uh bounce with harmonics. You're going down the road, fourth gear, boom boom boom boom. That's a backhoe, man. Boom boom boom boom boom boom machine. And this takes that out of the machine. It's a smooth ride. You can go full road speed, fourth gear, 26 25 28 mile an hour all day long with that thing. Okay, so price-wise and durability on something like this. So, price-wise in a backhoe, fronts, rears, tires, rims included, uh shipping into the US, you'd be looking at like 12 grand all in for a set of tires and rims. But, longevity, you're looking at minimum three times more life of a pneumatic, if not longer. And when it comes time to redo all this, your like replacement cost of rubber somewhere around like 65%. Okay, so now as we look over here, you've got them on a UTV as well. You bet. So, this is an R&D project that we're working on with Rogers so show people what we're doing. This is a 29 by 9 tire for UTV side by side application. This is like a entry-level performance machine that we've been testing it on. Also doing it for UTVs that we do on job sites. We also want to come out with like a 33 and a 35 for more rock crawling application, different stuff like that. That's a cool fun project. This is actually a military tire that we've been working on. Not quite done yet, almost tuned in, but that's super exciting. And then this is our off-road truck tire project that we brought to the show. Basically, you think of like underground mining, military application, open pit mining, stuff like that. Where you have trucks that aren't going on the road and run there all the time. This is another R&D project that we got but we put compression in it so that you get good traction, you can climb things, all that kind of stuff. How is the ride quality on something this? Will it jar the the fillings out of the back of your teeth? >> No, I've driven this thing for miles doing our R&D testing and I've been 50 mile an hour in this truck. So, uh these tires are balanced. We actually got them down to like 4 oz in balance and it all comes down to quality and consistency when you're trying to do that. Basically, if you want to know any more about this, we have R&D projects on our website, www.evolutionwheel.com. Check it out. Thank you, sir.
