Prepare for Cutting and Start Saw

A little rain ain’t going to stop us! 💪🏻 #hardscape
What happens here
Before beginning any concrete cutting, ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn. This includes a respirator mask to protect against dust inhalation, safety glasses for eye protection, hearing protection to guard against loud noise, gloves for hand protection, and a full-body rain suit (especially if cutting wet) to keep dry and minimize exposure to slurry. Position the paver securely on a stable surface, such as a bed of gravel or a sturdy workbench, that allows the saw blade to cut through without damaging the surface below. Ensure the cutting area is clear of obstructions and any potential trip hazards. Once safety gear is in place and the paver is stable, start the concrete saw, allowing the blade to reach its full operating speed before making contact with the material.
Goal: Ensure safety and readiness to cut pavers.
