A little hack with Big Stretch Sealant to get this piece off trim straight with a crooked wall!

What happens here

Begin by positioning the first piece of baseboard trim along the wall. Insert small wooden shims or spacers underneath the trim to elevate it slightly, creating a consistent gap between the bottom of the baseboard and the floor. This gap allows for flooring expansion or a clean transition. Using a pneumatic nail gun (like the Ridgid R350RHF), drive finish nails through the baseboard into the wall studs to secure it firmly. For corner pieces, ensure mitered cuts are tight, then repeat the process for the adjacent piece of trim.

Goal: Securely attach baseboard trim to the wall with consistent spacing.
