So I'm going to give you a simple little tip. Use an X-board or Ram-board when installing your trim. So painting it is a lot easier. So you don't get any paint on your flooring. You don't get any bleeding underneath it. So I take and just take my X-board or Ram-board, set it on the floor, set my baseboards down on top of that. And so it gives you just this height right there that it's actually setting on. And what that does is when I go back to actually paint it now, when I mask, I can just slide my masking paper with a frog tape underneath my baseboards. Now I'm not going to get any bleeding on my flooring at all. The hardest thing to do is when you have a brand new installed floor like this to paint these baseboards and not get any paint on the baseboard, you're trying to mask up tight to it. And so this simple little trick gives you a tiny little lip under there. And I carry care sheets of paper about this long. You know, with my frog tape on, slide it underneath, tear another one, slide it underneath. You work along under there. You'll never get any paint on your brand new flooring. Simple little tip. Use a thick export or ram board.
